Originally commissioned in 1926, US Highway 80 ran from the Atlantic Ocean in Georgia to the Pacific Ocean in San Diego. Here are images I shot October 12 2006 of the amazing 37 mile stretch in San Diego County. Along most places on this stretch you may as well be back in the 1930s, little has changed.
