Hi folks

Todays outstanding performer in spite of two weeks no rain and very little rain in June is

H. 'Loblolly Eyeful' I went to get stats on this one and it seems it was not registered. It still shines in my garden.

I was able to get into the AHS database today regarding the daylily Loblolly Eyeful. The name is still listed as being reserved.

How do you manage to get so many flowers each year ? Care to share some secrets?

Glad you like the flowers. I have been collecting Daylilies since 1999. I work for a nursery, so that helps fuel the addiction. There is more money than I care to say in my Daylilies. I also belong to two local clubs, where sometimes you can get a bargain on the new and expensive varieties.

If you google for daylilies, you will find sites selling the newest for $100 and up, I do not buy those.

I am going through plants this year to cull out some seedlings. It is so dry here. Mother mature literally spit at me today. not even enough rain to settle the dust.
