1987 Proof Set

The cent is History

Here is another proof set that has seen better days. The nickel, dime, and half seem to be OK. The quarter has a lot of haze. The cent is corroded, history, toast, or whatever you would like to call it. It is beyond me why the mint will not use the old copper alloy for the cent. These copper plated Zincolns are magnets for corrosion. This set comes in the holder only, no outer box. The holder is quite marked up as well, so this would be a good set to buy if you are into slabbing modern proofs. (About the only good thing I can think of to do with the cent is to spend it).

Payment

I expect payment within ten days of the auction closing. If this is not possible, please contact me. I am willing to work with you, but if I haven't received payment or contact from you within ten days I will assume you do not plan on completing the transaction.

I accept PayPal (confirmed addresses only), Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, and Personal Checks. I will ship immediately upon receipt of a PayPal payment or a postal money order. Other money orders, cashier's checks, and personal checks are subject to a ten business day hold for clearance. Please allow up to four weeks to receive your item if you pay by a method other than PayPal or postal money order. My determination of placing a hold on funds is based on your feedback, how well you communicate after the auction, and the final price.
